We try and enjoy going to the arboretum every Monday morning. They have a special toddler hike they do with fun activities and a story time. I love it because it is the one place in Houston we are surrounded by trees and almost forget we are in a big city.
Today we learned about Bees
They gave all the kids a cute black pom-pom on a yellow pipe cleaner as a bee then while we were on our hike they had the kids "tickle" the flowers like a bee does. It was fun to watch how excited Clair got to actually see a real bee.
Right now it is so green and all the flowers are out. It feels amazing to be outside and I love watching my kids play with sticks and bugs.
