Wahoo A Race! We were signed up to do a 10K but I have been sick with a bad cold for the last week and was still having a hard time breathing and so I talked Jason into only doing the 5k.
We were really excited for this run because, not only was it a beautiful day it was the BLUE BELL RACE. Which meant we were going to be rewarded with "all-you-can-eat-ICE CREAM!"

Here we are about to start :)
Caleb fell asleep shortly after we started running. Clair loves sitting in the stroller and watching all the people (there were a lot!). Plus all we had to say was, "we're running to the ice cream" and she was excited to cheer us on to run faster.
We made it! and happily enjoyed our first ice cream bar.
Clair and Caleb happily went on a sugar high with all the ice cream.
It was even more fun because two of Jason's friends from school and some friends from church ran too.
I won't lie, it was hard for me to run this race. But I am realizing the importance of doing hard things. By pushing ourselves to do hard things we then teach ourselves that when life gets hard we can do it.
