It really is amazing how fast time goes. At moments it seems like Jason and I are still newly weds... and then I remember we have children!
For our fifth year anniversary we treated ourselves and the kids to Disney on Ice, "Rock'n Ever After."
WOW!!!
It was amazing! For some reason I never realized that people skate for a living. The only time I've ever seen professional skaters was during the Olympics. Watching these people skate as if they were walking and dancing on regular ground was amazing. I, myself am not a huge fan of skating, the fall hurts too bad. But I LOVE watching it!
Clair and Caleb loved it too. We were able to watch Ariel, Brave, Rapunzel, and Belle. Clair got so giddy and silly, making gurgling happy noises and giving Jason huge hugs when ever the princess and prince danced and sang together. It surprised me a bit how frightened she got at the villains. Overall she has been dancing and singing the different princesses ever since and asking if we can go back.
Caleb happily laid in my arms and watched the whole thing. Every once in a while he would reach up and touch my face to make sure I was paying attention to something he liked. Oh, so much fun!
this was as the show was finishing and the characters were all taking bows. Clair was not happy to take her eyes off the stage for the second it took to take this picture... :)
