Hammock, Princess, and Daddy

Last year when Jason when to Honduras he brought home a hammock.  We hung it above our bed and it has been a great energy-getter-outer on days we aren't able to make it to the park.

Clair and Caleb were being so silly.  The would both hang their arms over and then Clair would swing them backwards.  But because Caleb isn't as tall as Clair this would make him fall onto his back onto our bed.  They thought this was the funniest thing ever!

This is our Princess.
Clair received a crown, clip-on earings, and a wand from a friend.  It has been fun to watch her get dressed all fancy and then walk around and twirl and be in-love with the feeling of being a princess.

I have a strong testimony that as Children of God we are princesses and princes and are indeed royal.  I am grateful for the trust my Heavenly Father has put in me to raise one of his very special princesses!

and my prince, who is in love with playing daddy.  He asked me to help him wrap up a baby doll then climbed into the rocking chair to rock the baby.  I am proud of my little man and I am so grateful for the good daddy example he has in our family.
