Today started with us driving back to Memorial Area for a Fisher Price toy party. So much fun! It was so good to see so many friends from our old ward.
After quiet time we set to work on a fun afternoon. The bathroom has been getting stinky quicker with an awesome potty trained little girl so we set to work.
Clair and Caleb loved getting the floor covered with water so they could skate. Caleb had a hard time not sucking on the sponge, however. After that Clair accidentally locked herself in her room and Caleb and Mom had to take the door nob off to get her out. Luckily she was pretty content to play in her room while she waited for us to figure it out.
Caleb loved our finger painting time. He used up most of all the paint and had fun squishing it between his fingers.
Clair took charge helping with dinner. She organized the fruit and veggies onto the patter. During dinner she then took charge of deciding who got what and how much. We have learned that she is much more willing to try and eat vegetables if we give her choices of the veggies to choose from and dip to use.
Clair had a melt down when it was time for bed. She was so ready but kept crying that she couldn't go to sleep now and not in her bed. I finally rocked her to sleep but when I put her in her bed she woke up long enough to cry "no, I don't sleep now!" And then she slept from 8pm to 8am!
