IT WORKED!!! Jason really wanted Eggo Waffles. They taste so good but I feel are so expensive for how long they last. So I decided to try doing it myself. I started with an extra batch of pancakes that I was making anyway. Let them cool off then froze them individually. Once they were frozen I put them in a bag and Wa-La instant breakfast, snack, dinner... just pop them in the toaster and they taste excellent!
This afternoon we tried a new activity and it lasted- The rest of the afternoon!- I gave the kids a container full of loose change. I then opened the random container drawer that I have started collecting. They loved sticking the coins through the top of egg cartons and then opening them to see where they landed. I was surprised at how long they lasted sliding the coins down a paper towel roll and into a container. They then turned it into a store using the money.
Caleb was really into it until I asked to take his picture. He then laid on the floor and smiled for me.
That afternoon Aunt Julie came over. She was going to have a slumber party with us before she moved. We went to the dollar store and bought princess items so we could have...
A Princess Party! Clair loved doing make-up and hair and getting into silky pj's. We then popped a lot of popcorn and mixed in some dots and watched Lady and the Tramp.
