The Kemah Board walk! We went in the middle of the week and pretty early in the afternoon to miss all the traffic and crowds. It is a little amusement park with a board walk along the outside looking out on the ocean. It would be amazing at night all lit up!
Clair and Caleb loved the rides and with our pass and no lines we were able to ride them over and over again.
Clair was pretty proud of herself that she was big enough that some of the little rides she could do all by herself! There was only one ride she really wanted to ride but was too small for (the sky swings). At one point we took a break to cool off and bought a cup of dip'n dots. She would take a bite then stand up, reach her hands above her head and make the comment, "am I bigger?" she would decide not yet and sit down for another bite.
One ride was a big glass donut where you could sit and it would take you way up high and rotate you so you could see in every direction. It was really relaxing.
It was also air conditioned and so it made it really nice!!!
(do you like Caleb's glasses! He kept them on the whole time! I am such a proud mommy)
