We came home to SPRINKLERS!!! We could not resist. Swimming suites were on and giggles heard. Fifteen minutes of me sitting, watching my kids and thinking that I was going to die in the heat, my neighbor came home and kindly told me to get my kids inside.
I guess most of the week we have had heat advisory telling people to stay inside. Instead of going inside right away (because my kids were having way too much fun!) I went and got them both large cold drinks to keep them hydrated and a couple popsicles each. That helped me too :) but now I understand why I was having such a hard time sitting there watching the kids.
