A Catch Up

So this is really behind... but here is my 28 week baby bump picture. Our little man is quite active. He loves kicking Clair when she is sitting on my lap. I have been feeling awesome, other than the normal pregnancy woes of not being able to sleep, sit for very long, or stand for very long. My back only hurts if I am not careful of how much I bend over to clean or pick up Clair during the day. I have to admit, I have hardly noticed this pregnancy. Clair keeps me pretty busy.

On Sunday some sisters from my ward here in Woodland threw me a surprise baby shower. I feel so blessed. They have been such a wonderful support to me, even when they knew I was here for only a short amount of time. I am so grateful for their friendship.

This is Clair the next morning coming out and discovering all of baby brother's gifts. She has a mean look on her face because I caught her off guard with the flash. Ha, ha she loved looking at his books and holding the stuffed animals.
On Monday we made a spontaneous trip to Montara Lighthouse where there is a hostel. We were in luck that the day before they had an opening for a private room where we could stay. It was amazing! Listening to the waves crash all night long, watching the sunset over the ocean. Hiking around...

We spent all Monday afternoon and most of Tuesday playing in the tide pools and walking along the beach. Clair took every opportunity to throw the rocks into the water.
It was super windy!



Clair also enjoyed chasing the seagulls. Well, walking towards them. She couldn't go very fast on the sand with the wind blowing against her.
We have started packing. Jason is running a 1/2 marathon this weekend. On Monday we pack the truck and head back to Rexburg. Wow!
