LIONESS AT THE GATE
At the gate of the home
Stands a vigilant figure
Ever watchful and careful
She is guarding the gate.
Overseeing what enters
Her perspective eternal
For herself and her family
She is guarding the gate.
With a sense of what matters
She will safeguard what's precious
She will nurture and foster
Ever guarding the gate.
Even as the Redeemer
Who is holy in Israel
Bids us enter his kingdom
Through a strait, narrow Gate,
He employeth no servant
since no one can deceive him
For he only is holy,
He who keepeth the gate.
(2 Nephi 9:41)
On Saturday my stake had a Relief Society conference and this was the theme. This poem was shared and it has given me so much to think about so i wanted to share it.
I know that because of the covenants I have made with my Father in Heaven and the gift of the Holy Ghost that has been given to me I have the power to know what to allow in my home. I have the power to protect and safe keep my family. It is my responsibility to watch and help my husband keep our home a safe place full of love with a clear goal to make it back to our Father in Heaven. I know that Jesus Christ has made it possible for me to do this. His is the perfect example and has shown me what is important and what my focus should be. I love my Savior and I know that he loves each of us. Enough that he is personally going to watch that gate to keep us safe.

Beautiful testimony Jill.
To answer your question about the menu: the outer page is one full sheet (12x16) folded in half. The sheet in the middle is glued to the inside with epoxy, with a small tab folded over.
I can definitely give you our crock pot recipes! That thing saves my life so many times. My email is stephanieclawson@gmail.com. Just send me a note and I'll reply back with the recipes.
