The Organ

meet my new friend the organ... well the friend I am soon going to get very acquainted with. I've been wanting to learn to play the organ for about a month now and the perfect, yet very intimidating opportunity just opened up. I am going to attempt to learn a piece called 'The Lord Bless You and Keep You' by John Rutter for our ward choir. I am announcing this so that I will really get myself to do it. It is intimidating because I have only watched my friend Kelsey work the organ while I sat in the choir seats... How does she do it? All the key boards, the foot pedals, the fancy knobs along the sides? Luckily on LDS.org they have a really neat set up of free lessons on how to learn the organ quickly so you can start playing right away. I think it will take a lot more work than I would like to think but here it goes.
