A Friend from Clair's dance class invited her to her birthday party at the zoo. The whole family was invited. And WOW! It was amazing.
Each child got their own gift bag with a cute little lunch, a water bottle, a safari hat to decorate with stickers, and a gift bag with different animal related goodies and toys.
During down time there was a game "pin the tail on the lion" that you could play. Caleb loved it! Clair would only do it after we agreed she didn't have to be blind folded.
They also had tickets for all the children to ride the carousal once. Clair and Caleb always ask when we go to the zoo so this was a special treat.
A zoo keeper brought a chinchilla and an armadillo for show and tell and let all the kids pet them.
Caleb LOVED it and followed the zoo keeper around to get in as many pets as he could.

After the party we enjoyed walking around the zoo with Dad and looking at the animals. It was way too hot to be outside but somehow it was still so much fun!
