I am very excited about a calling I just recieved. I get the great experience of being the Primary Chorister. I am so excited for this calling mostly because of the opportunity it is to beare my testimony through music. The primary hymns are so powerful! I am also excited because Clair is now in sunbeams and so I get to be in there with her for a little bit!
This last Sunday was my first day. Clair was so excited. She jumped and waved and called out excitedly. She ran up and gave me a big hug. I hugged her back and then whispered for her to go back to her seat. She went and pouted for the next few minutes. And then she was fine.
Songs are assigned to teach each month and I am so excited for the song we get to learn for the month of March- "If The Savior Stood Beside Me"
This is such a powerful song. I am so grateful for the knowledge of my Savior. I know that he loves me very very much!
If you have any thoughts on how to teach this song or other ideas for singing time I would love the help!

Jill - I just got called to be the primary pianist! Too bad we aren't in the same ward. :) Our chorister taught this by showing the kids a few pictures of Christ with children and asked them to imagine how that would feel...she does lots of fun things like play with scarves and handbells.
