Pick a border color and cut out the middle. Glue wax paper onto the back and cut it to match the edge of the border. Next draw your picture using black or colored permanent marker. Take a black paper and glue around three of the edges then put the border with wax paper on the background. Next cut out a flat cone looking shape from white card stock. Staple a rolled piece of paper to the small part of the cone shape to make a flashlight. Then put the wide side of the cone, or your "light" into the unglued part of your picture. You can then use your flashlight to see your night time scene.
Here is Clair's. Her picture was of a pirate ship.
Clair figured this out all on her own!
And Jack figured out this creative project. Caleb left his bowl unattended with his chair not pushed in... I think Jack has a special radar for chairs left out.
And this was just a happy moment. Caleb had been playing outside and his feet got cold so we did a foot soak and had hot chocolate. Jack happily enjoyed being with his big brother!
