Highlights

So we have been doing WAY too many fun things... this is awesome until I want to put all the pictures we take on here and then it takes hours to upload and then I just don't do it.

So here are a couple highlights-
We finally got a new family picture!  We were lucky enough to be hiking with Ana and Dusty (Jason's sister and brother-in-law) in Shenandoah National Park.  So far this is one of my favorite places we have been.  All the hikes are down the mountain then you turn around and hike back up.  There are so many waterfalls (and poison ivy).  So beautiful!

We also finally took the time to snap some more professional pictures of the kids.  They are growing so fast and we are so busy playing that we have forgotten to pull out the camera for everyday moments.

Jack is crawling, pulling himself up to everything, and starting to cruse along the furniture.  He is so proud of himself, and we are proud of him too.  My favorite was this morning when I put an activity on the little kids table for when Clair and Caleb woke up.  Next thing I know Jack is pulling it all off the table!  Or when I get on the floor and babble Jack just laughs and laughs and starts crawling towards me.

Caleb had a birthday!  He is now 3 years old.  He loves pretending to be a tiger, puppy, baby, dragon, and super ninja knight.  His favorite color is orange.  Loves anything sugar.  He is so much fun!  For his birthday he asked for hot wheel tracks and a t-ball set with balls (which he thanks Heavenly Father for every prayer he says) and a bat to hit the balls with.

Clair and Jack both got ear tubes.  Jack has had an ear infection about every 4 weeks since he has been alive.  Clair's ears have not been able to drain fluid so she has had trouble hearing and has had a few ear infections as well.  Clair also had her tonsils and adenoids removed.  This is in hopes that her ears will clear and she will have an easier time breathing at night.  We are on day 5 of recovery and so far good.  Clair has only asked once if she could go get her tonsils back in so she could eat different food.  And, she has only complained once that she wished she was normal again.  She is such a trooper.  And a very special thank you to a new friend.  She just moved into the area and attends the same church.  She overheard me taking to someone else about this event in our life and immediately vollentered to come support me.  Her husband even rearranged his schedule to watch their two little girls so she could come with me.  It was an amazing answer to my prayers.

Yeah for life!

Jill!
Congrats on the move, and with Jason being done with boards. So exciting! Will you be in DC for four months, or will you be moving three times in four months? It will be so nice when he is all done! We are in Connecticut, and the east coast is pretty great huh! If you are ever headed in our direction let us know! Good luck with everything!
