ALL the happenings

Yeah for a few minutes to write!  Actually it is the pictures that I have been waiting for, because that is what is really fun to look at on blogs :)

so here are some from the last few weeks.

Jack's first time in the bumbo!

Getting good at building with blocks. (Yes, Caleb built this all himself!)

This was actually really really fun.  Clair drew the people, I drew some trees and furniture, Caleb picked out the blocks.  We then cut everything out of the paper, taped them onto the blocks and built our own castles scene then played "doll house" with the block/paper people.  It was one of those awesome mommy inspiration moments that made a slow morning turn into a fun filled project.

Jack's adorable smiles.  Can't get much done when he is around.  All I want to do is play with him.

He is now grabbing toys and bringing them to his mouth to slobber all over.  In this car ride he fell asleep with his favorite ball, so sweet.

Our Arboretum visit including a picnic.  We are loving the weather right now!  Trying to take advantage of it before the bugs come out.

Jack really enjoyed the arboretum too

The latest Caleb nap pose.  Walked in on him and I seriously thought he was still awake... but no.  He was sitting there holding the golf set working on lacing cards for quiet time and fell asleep.  Sweet little guy.

ST. PATRICKS DAY!
Clair and Caleb are getting old enough to catch the magic of holidays. Leprechauns are too much fun to not do.  We got some books from the library to read through the week so they would kind of have an idea of what the tricky little people were.  We then set up a trap with paper plates (we colored them rainbow colors to attract them) and dress-up jewelry (pirate gold and beaded necklaces) and went to bed.  The next morning Clair and Caleb were so excited to find that the house was a disaster... well not too horrible, because I would have to clean it up ;)  The chairs were knocked over our shoes were trailed all over the living room.  In the kitchen they found foot prints and leprechaun dust.  Some of the footprints went to the fridge.  Caleb thought it was hilarious that the tricksters would put his cars in fridge!  He actually claimed the fridge the car's home for the rest of the week. The trap had a large hole in it where the little man got out but he did leave a fun treat for their efforts.  Maybe we'll catch them next year.

My baby is getting so chunky.  I love his cuddles!

This was the first time Caleb has actually asked if he could hold Jack.

I LOVE my buddies!

Jason is now done with Boards and so we get to see him again!  We are so proud of his hard work!
