We found out that there is an outdoor theatre by the zoo. My friend invited us to go with her to watch Hansel and Gretel.
I was super excited! I then found out is was an opera... I have never seen an opera so I don't know why I judge it right away, but surprisingly Clair and Caleb LOVED it.
It lasted 30 minutes- perfect for the age group. Clair and Caleb and the couple friends that we sat with were so excited to get up and dance during the singing and then eat their snacks during the parts that they didn't understand. I was surprised that they, well Clair, actually followed the story line. I think it was because of the awesome acting. It was very well done and we will defiantly be taking advantage of this more often!
