I have been using Dora time as a quick break for me to get ready for the day or study my scriptures. One morning I laid both kids down to change their diapers during Dora. I left to wash my hands and I came back to find both of them laying in the same position and both sucking on their hands. Cute!
It rained! And when it rained it rained really really hard. It happened to be the same time Jason went on a quick run to the grocery store. And it just happened to rain when he decided to go with the stroller and both kids. Ha, ha they were so wet. Jason had droplets coming off his nose. Clair loved it and little Caleb fell right to sleep. I don't know if you can see it, but there is a nice little puddle of water down by Caleb's feet.
Great Grandma Larson sent Clair a beautiful piano book of Children's songs that are illustrated with pictures from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Clair loves it. We turned on the CD that comes with it and danced around. She loves turning the pages and looking for all the animals.
My sister had a birthday, shout HURRAY! It is so fun to be close to her. We surprised her for a birthday breakfast of cheesy waffles, bacon, and scrambled eggs, yum! Caleb really liked the candle.
We stayed for church and a birthday dinner at her in-laws. Here is the gift I made for her. An apron out of a button up shirt. I added the flowers to make it more girly. I got the idea from here: Shirt Apron
Grandma sent us a package. Clair loved it. Here is Clair trying on a monkey costume she found in the box. She didn't want a picture but I took one anyway.
Caleb enjoyed the monkey costume too. Here he is scooting on his back to get to the mask.
this page is "The Wheels on the Bus" You can turn the buttons wheels, the ribbon wipers swipe back and forth, the light folds out and in to go on and off. And the people come out of the bus to sing with.
