July & August Update

Clair and I have been doing lots of experiments in the kitchen. I have had a lot of fun trying new and old recipes with butter, egg, and milk powder to make mixes for cookies, pancakes and other things. We have also been making our own noodles and started making bread... still working on that one :) Clair loves watching me measure and mix and she thinks the clean up is the best because she gets to sticks her feet in the warm soapy water while I wash up.

Jason has been doing a couple triathlons this summer. This last one was the Rush Tri here in Rexburg. He got 12th overall and first place in his age group!!! He is so awesome!

Jason just accepted an internship in Davis CA. We will be moving there in January.

In July we took a week off and went down to Southern Utah and hiked around Zion's National Park, Bryce Canyon, and Cedar Breaks. If you ever hike Kolob Canyon and see the little Larson Cabin along the trail you can say you know who it belongs to... Jason's grandpa helped his father build it. Clair was awesome even when it was so yucky hot. She ended up being the main attraction and had tourists taking pictures of her, Ha, ha great times!

Clair is 9 months- crawling everywhere, crusing along the furniture. She has four little teeth and one two more on the way (teething hasn't been too bad just sleepless nights and swollen gums).

Looks like a fun summer! She is such a doll. Good luck with moving--hope it goes well and that Jason loves his internship.
